On-Sales:
The random number ticket on-sale policy is designed to give every fan an equal chance at purchasing the best tickets to an event. This method is preferred by most bands and promoters since it gives the fans an equal chance to purchase tickets and discourages scalpers from buying up the best seats and also discourages fans from having to "camp out" overnight for tickets. More
Tickets may be purchased using cash, personal checks, American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover. TicketMaster outlets accept cash, American Express, Visa and Mastercard. First day sales for events are available by cash or credit card. Personal checks are not accepted for events that are less than 7 days away.
Box Office Locations:
There are three box office locations inside The DTE Energy Music Theatre. Located directly next to the east and west entrances are box offices that can sell, upgrade when available, and distribute all will-call tickets. A box office is also located next to the VIP entrance for all season ticketholders, but can also sell, upgrade when available, and print will-call tickets that have account numbers for all patrons. For ticket information call (248) 377-0100. To confirm whether tickets are in will call the number is (248) 625-8258.
Disabled Services:
The disabled seating locations for DTE Energy Music Theatre are located in the rear of the pavilion. There is a raised platform located in the left section of the pavilion, which is usually priced as a pavilion ticket. One companion seat may be purchased with the disabled seat. Additional companion seats may be purchased but will be placed in the rows ahead of the disabled section, if available. Patrons may also purchase tickets to sit behind the right or center sections. These tickets are priced at the lawn price. Please be aware that patrons are not required to sit in their seats during the performance and patrons who chose the lawn priced disabled seats may be obstructed by other patrons standing.
Cancellations or Rescheduled Events:
In the event a performance is canceled or rescheduled, ticket holders will be mailed a post card, when addresses are available. Information is also sent to the local media for publicity. Please be aware that tickets purchased over the counter at TicketMaster outlets or any of the venues have no person or address recorded for those tickets, so there is no way to contact those ticket holders other than through the local media. If the event is canceled, refunds will be available at the point of purchase (ie. If tickets were bought at The Palace, please take the unused tickets back to The Palace for a refund, or if they were purchased at a TicketMaster outlet, refunds will be available at that specific outlet.) If the event is rescheduled, tickets will be honored for the new date, or in most cases refunds will be available at the original point of purchase.
Lost / Stolen or Tickets Not Received in the Mail:
When tickets are lost, stolen or not received in the mail, patrons must contact the place where the tickets were purchased. In order to protect ticket purchasers, there is a process that must be followed to receive lost seat passes. If tickets were purchased at The Palace, DTE Energy Music Theatre, Meadow Brook Music Festival or Palace Locker Room stores please call the Palace at (248) 377-0100. For tickets purchased at TicketMaster outlets, patrons should return to the original outlet where the tickets were purchased. For tickets purchased over the phone from TicketMaster or TicketMaster.com, patrons should call (248) 645-6666 or any local TicketMaster phone number.
Will-Call Tickets:
Tickets that are purchased by phone without time to safely mail or tickets left by someone are considered will-call tickets. A picture ID and the credit card used to purchase the tickets are required to pick up purchased will-call tickets. Patrons with will-call tickets that were purchased over the phone by TicketMaster may pick up their tickets 90 minutes prior to the event start time. Patrons who purchased tickets over the phone from The Palace of Auburn Hills, DTE Energy Music Theatre or Meadow Brook Music Festival may pick up their tickets at any time during regular business hours. Tickets that are left by team players or touring personnel usually arrive in the box office approximately one hour before the scheduled start time. The box office usually does not know the names for who the tickets will be left under that are given by the players or touring personnel until the actual tickets are received in the box office. Will-call tickets may be picked up at any of the box offices where the event is scheduled. Tickets left by players or touring personnel may be picked up at The Palace West Box Office, DTE Energy Music Theatre East Box Office, and the only Meadow Brook Music Festival Box Office.

My Tickets Turned Black. What Happened?
As a security measure, tickets printed for The Palace of Auburn Hills, DTE Energy Music Theatre and Meadow Brook Music Festival are printed on thermal paper. What that means is that the black writing on the tickets are actually burned onto the tickets instead of printed. When patrons store tickets in cars, especially glove boxes on dashboards, or in other places of extreme heat, the tickets may turn completely black and become unreadable. If this happens the box office may not be able to issue relocation passes since the original seats cannot be determined.
Ticket Mailing Process:
Tickets that are purchased over the phone can be mailed to the person that purchased the tickets. Tickets can be mailed if there is sufficient time to safely travel through the postal system. The general rule is that ticket purchased within seven days before the event will be left in will call to be picked up by the person who purchased the tickets. If there are more than seven days before the event tickets get mailed through the standard U.S. Postal System to the address that the credit card used to purchase the tickets is mailed. If tickets are to be mailed to the ticket purchaser, please allow at least seven to ten days before calling to inform the box office that the tickets weren't received. For tickets that are not received in the mailed, patrons should contact the place the tickets were purchased from. If the tickets were purchased over the phone from TicketMaster or TicketMaster.com please call (248) 645-6666 or any local TicketMaster phone number. If tickets were purchased from The Palace of Auburn Hills, DTE Energy Music Theatre or Meadow Brook Music Festival please call (248) 377-0100 and ask to speak to the sales representative who sold the original tickets or, if that is not known, ask for the box office. Relocation passes may be issued for tickets that are not received in the mail.
Credit Card Verification Policy:
For safety and security reasons, tickets purchased by credit card may only be purchased by the actual credit card holder. TicketMaster, The Palace of Auburn Hills, DTE Energy Music Theatre and Meadow Brook Music Festival use a credit card verification system that will only allow tickets to be printed and mailed to persons whose name, address and phone number match that supplied by the credit card's issuing bank.
