PS&E Earns 8 Emmy Nominations
PALACE SPORTS & ENTERTAINMENT EARNS EIGHT MICHIGAN EMMY NOMINATIONS PS&E IS LOOKING TO ADD TO ITS 29 EMMY WINS
Palace Sports & Entertainment (PS&E) received eight nominations from the Michigan Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences on Thursday, May 6. The Michigan Emmys will be presented on June 5 during the Academy’s 32nd annual awards show at the Royal Oak Music Theatre.
Dating back to 1993, the PS&E Broadcasting & Multimedia Department has been nominated for 80 Emmys and has won 29 times.
PS&E staff up for Michigan Emmys include Pete Skorich, Executive Vice President of Broadcasting & Multimedia (four nominations) Stan Fracker, Director of Broadcast Production (four nominations) David Rhoades, Broadcast Facility Coordinator (two nominations) Eli Zaret, Sideline Report/Host (one nomination) and Jeremy Smoker, Palacevision Director (one nomination).
“It is always an honor to be nominated,” said Skorich. “Our producers aim to deliver Pistons basketball in a very entertaining and informative fashion and to be recognized by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences at this stage of the process is very exciting.”
